✅ 99.9% Steam Purity – Critical Phase Separation
Experience superior steam quality with integrated cyclone separators and chevron dryers that remove moisture with 99.9% efficiency. Our steam drums are crafted using SA-335 P91 alloy, capable of withstanding pressures up to 280 bar and temperatures up to 580°C, ensuring top performance in demanding environments.
✅ Unshakeable System Stability & Control
Our drums act as a thermal energy buffer with a 30–60 second residence time, maintaining stability during load fluctuations. Featuring continuous blowdown systems, they safeguard water chemistry (silica < 20 ppb, pH 9.0–9.6), and provide precise drum level control within ±10mm, minimizing risks of dry-out or water carryover.
✅ Engineered for Structural Integrity
Built tough with 150–250mm thick SA-516 Gr.70 steel, our drums handle extreme pressure—2,500+ PSI at 400°C—and absorb shock loads of 10%/min. The design also reduces thermal fatigue around pressure penetrations by 50%, ensuring longer service life and fewer unplanned shutdowns.
✅ Unmatched Operational Flexibility
Whether starting up or shutting down, our drums allow for controlled thermal expansion up to 55°C/min. Integrated chemical dosing points streamline pH adjustment and oxygen scavenging. Manways allow easy inspection and cleaning, cutting maintenance downtime by up to 40%.

A steam drum is a pressure chamber of a steam boiler located at the upper extremity of the steam boiler circulatory system.
It is a reservoir of water/steam at the top end of the water tubes.
The steam drum stores the steam generated in the water tubes and acts as a phase-separator for the steam/water mixture. Steam is separated from the water and then discharged at a position above the water level maintained there.
In the water tube boiler, the upper drum (Boiler steam drum) provides for the separation of steam from water. It also provides liquid holdup capacity (typically 10 to 60 seconds) to allow a dynamic response to load changes without losing liquid in the downcomer and riser tubes. The size of the steam drum is determined by the volume required for a clean separation between steam and water to produce dry saturated steam, it also provides an adequate amount of steam storage. The steam drum is also called the upper drum.ng elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
The steam drum serves as the connection hub for the heating, evaporation, and superheating processes. It contains a certain amount of water, providing heat storage capability, which enhances operational safety. It is equipped with devices such as steam-water separation, steam flushing, continuous blowdown, and chemical dosing, all of which improve steam and water quality.
